"Knives"

We joked to the sight of the virgin trees
A broken hill scent schooled with blue highlights and seeds
If we wanted to stumble and blacken our eyes
We'd have found conjecture and criticised your style
Whilst flapping at lists in the hurricanes
We defy the ground and grip our sonic soul

Restrain

The cheers we crave life desires
Tragic tones and liar's pride

Cramped invention for lurid dreams
As we divide our knives among the ones who say they are free
Juxtaposed lost in hurried lands
Followed crime forlorn in the universal sound
There's a hammered tribe knocking down walls
We retract ourselves from the new age rising claws

Restrain

The cheers we crave life desires
Tragic tones and liar's pride

Life, lies, love
Life, lies, love

The cheers we crave life desires
Tragic tones and liar's pride

The cheers we crave life desires
Tragic tones and liar's pride

The cheers we crave life desires
Tragic tones and liar's pride
